The branding and iconography for NASA’s planetary protection group. I focused on creating an insignia-type logo with many graphic elements per customer request. Planetary Protection focuses on effectively managing any biological risks created during space exploration, so the iconography focuses on microbiology, manned and unmanned space travel, planetary bodies and science.

Alternate Versions

Another version of the logo was created just showing the graphic elements surrounding Earth for potential usage in marketing, etc. Other alternate versions of the logo were created but not used. Some great options were made available.
